About Me
I’m SIDO, a software engineer based in Shanghai, working to reinvent myself as a product engineer for the AI era.
I’ve written code for over a decade, building big, messy systems across internet e-commerce, retail supply chain, and cultural-tourism ticketing, with plenty of mistakes along the way. These days I’m working on cross-border e-commerce and tinkering with AI.
I believe in AI and I’m in it for the long run. Rather than chasing what’s hot, I’d rather take my time on things I find genuinely interesting, and make complicated things a bit simpler.
I run marathons, and I’m in it for the same reason — not the pace, but being able to keep going.
Outside of work I like the outdoors and shooting hoops, and I share the place with a white cat.
On the blog I write about tech and life; in Glean Weekly I share interesting things I come across.
Time waits for no one, the future is here.
